## Apps

Native on iPhone and Android.

- **iPhone**: SwiftUI, built on Element X iOS. (Based on: [Element X iOS](https://github.com/element-hq/element-x-ios))
- **Android**: Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, built on Element X Android. (Based on: [Element X Android](https://github.com/element-hq/element-x-android))
- **Rust core**: Encryption, sync and storage through matrix-rust-sdk, the same in both apps. (Based on: [matrix-rust-sdk](https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-rust-sdk))
- **Shared rules**: Reserved names, scam patterns and app text in one repository, generated for each app.

## On the device

Encryption and checks on your phone.

- **End to end**: Private chats encrypted on the device. The server delivers, it does not read.
- **Local scam warning**: The check runs on the phone, after decryption. Nothing leaves the device.
- **Random ID**: The Matrix account does not come from your name or number. The @ is a separate layer.

## Servers

In Brazil, with Brazilian companies.

- **Matrix server**: Synapse. (Based on: [Synapse](https://github.com/element-hq/synapse))
- **Login**: Matrix Authentication Service. No SMS codes. (Based on: [Matrix Authentication Service](https://github.com/element-hq/matrix-authentication-service))
- **Bipe API**: TypeScript and Postgres. Invites, handles and CNPJ checks.
- **Infrastructure**: Element Server Suite. (Based on: [Element Server Suite](https://github.com/element-hq/ess-helm))

## Site

Static pages, no third-party trackers.

- **This site**: React and Vite, prerendered. Every page also as Markdown.
- **Design**: Compound, with Bipe's palette. (Based on: [Compound](https://github.com/element-hq/compound-design-tokens))
