People who live abroad change numbers and go days without calling home. Scammers use that: they say they are you, with a new number. On Bipe, your @ stays the same when your SIM changes, and your family knows who they are talking to.
On iPhone, Bipe is in testing through TestFlight. There is no Android version yet. The verified seal is still coming.

Your family knows it's you
The seal carries your verified name. If someone uses your photo with another number, the message arrives as a request, and a warning appears on a rushed Pix request.

A warning appears under a message that looks like a scam: a rushed Pix, a new number, a boleto, a receipt.

Your account lives on your phone, not on your number. New phone, new SIM or new country, you get back into your account with no SMS code. Every chat is end-to-end encrypted, and the servers are in Brazil.
